I Dug Deep And Got Certified As A Digital Marketer.

EnPowered Business LLC began as a desire to help other local service providers break through the startup phase to grow and scale their businesses profitably in Rapid City, SD. I had just one coaching client and was helping my husband scale his business. I realized we all needed to understand digital marketing as an ecosystem to get to the next level. So did all the solopreneurs and local service providers that were coming to my free networking group.

I went out on a limb and hired other agencies for everything from website design to paid ads, SEO, and Social Media and was sorely disappointed when I would audit their work. I was still taking certification courses from DigitalMarketer to grow my coaching business at the time and I was hoping to gain employment with other agencies to grow my skills.

My husband and I painfully learned the services received from these agencies did not align with our expectations. We thought we were hiring digital marketing experts to guide our small business’s growth. We wanted help with decision-making and selecting marketing tactics from an account manager. We hoped we could be more successful faster without losing too much money from learning curve.

What we got were SALESMEN shoehorning us into packages they needed to sell. These salesmen barely understood the marketing channels they were selling. I quickly found that I could do a better job by getting trained & certified at DigitalMarketer, SEM Rush, and a few other academies, and applying that knowledge myself. Dont leave your most valuable business asset in the hands of a salesman!
